On Saturday, November 8th, at the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, the French-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce (Chambre de Commerce Franco-Lituanienne) will hold luxurious charity business dinner “Diner de Gala avec Martell”. Evening aims fostering Lithuania’s culture of estates, pertaining cultural heritage and strengthening of the relationship between the two countries.
Gala dinner to be attended by 250 guests from French and Lithuanian capital corporate executives, business partners, country’s businessmen and heads of public Institutions will be decorated by a very well-known stylist and florist in Lithuania Mantas Petruškevičius.
“Feasts at that time there were very colorful, lasted for several days in a row. Table etiquette, decorating changed with each duke. On the tables there were a noble and gold deer antlers, three layers of cloths, swans, peacocks and storks , – said M. Petruškevičius, seeking inspiration in books about the history of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the European estates. – My goal for this special night is that the table would look like a little piece of history and it is perhaps the most difficult task of my life.”
Project initiated by the French-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce is developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania and the French Embassy in Lithuania.
“The more I am interested in the history books, the more I am surprised by the nobility of our menu – oysters, champagne and an abundance of the spice in any way not inferior to the modern kitchen. Too often we recall Lithuania went through a difficult years and rarely take pride in our culture – at that time we were not inferior to the largest manors and their rulers in Europe, – says M. Petruškevičius. – Without a doubt this will be the exclusive charity event for the ladies and gentlemen who will participate, and also for me.“
Ticket to a luxurious business and charity dinner which will combine Lithuanian noble estates cuisine with the pride of France – wine, champagne “G. H. Mumm” and cognac “Martell” will be priced at 101 euros, additional 44 euros will be attributed for charity. Donations collected on this occasion will be assigned to the certain item in the Palace of the Grand Dukes. The culmination of this first of the kind French-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce business dinner will be a dessert and dancing ball at the five-star “Kempinski Hotel generic cheap cialis Cathedral Square”.
