On 20th November, 2014, H.E. Ambassador of France Mme Maryse Berniau, Accor’s area general manager Frank Reul and President of the French-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce Alexander Husty hosted the “Beaujolais nouveau” evening which took place at the Novotel Vilnius Centre Hotel.

“Beaujolais nouveau” is a French wine that has the particularity of being sold on the same year it is harvested. Its release, occurring in the third week of November, has gradually become internationally honored.

This event was a great occasion to celebrate French gastronomy and culture in Lithuania. Several hundred guests were present and enjoyed the arrival of the Beaujolais in a cheerful atmosphere.
