French-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce is pleased to initiate golf among it’s members and to launch cooperation between French School of Vilnius and European Centre Golf Club. It gives a possibility for children from this school to learn more about a worldwide popular sport – golf, which is still little played in Lithuania.
For the purpose that children could practice more in their own school, European Centre Golf Club awarded French school of Vilnius with two sets of golf equipment which were handed by president of the CCFL Alexander Husty and club manager of European Centre Golf Club Mindaugas Glinskis during the event of school year-end celebration in Verkiai.
Representatives of the European Centre Golf Club also kindly promissed to instruct the teachers of the school so that they could continuously teach golf. All the school-children together with their parents were kindly invited to participate in the Open day in the Golf club which took place on the 20th of June. Partcipants were introduced with the rules and etiquette of the game and could also play themselves in the European Centre Golf Club. It was a very nice and active Saturday outdoors!
