On 19th November, 2015, the French-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce traditionally invited members and friends to celebrate the “Beaujolais nouveau” evening together at the Novotel Vilnius Centre Hotel. The event was hosted by the President of the French-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce Alexander Husty and General Manager of the Novotel Vilnius Centre Hotel Nitin Bhatia, whereas Ambassador of France Philippe Jeantaud greeted the “Beaujolais Nouveau” guests with an opening speech. Several hundred guests celebrated arrival of the Beaujolais Nouveau enjoying French delicacies in the festive atmosphere animated by dancers, music and other attractions. “Beaujolais nouveau” is a French wine that has the particularity of being sold on the same year it is harvested. Its release, occurring in the third week of November, has gradually become internationally honored.
