On 13th October, 2016, French-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce organised the French Breakfast with the Press to present the CCFL Charity Gala Dinner at “Thierry Kepykla” in the Lithuanian Montmartre – Užupis.

Together with representatives of the French Embassy in Lithuania, French Institute of Vilnius and the French-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce, known Lithuanian people admiring France were gathering at the bakery – writer Eugenijus Skerstonas, film festival “Cinema Spring” director Vida Ramaškienė, presenter of the cultural shows Lolita Bytautaitė, painter Vytenis Lingys with wife Gaiva, journalist and traveler Vytaras Radzevičius, and others.

As an owner of the bakery and a person who prepared the French breakfast, Thierry Lauvray welcomed the guests and presented what do the French usually eat for breakfast. Later on, Deputy Head of Mission in the French Embassy Fabrice Maiolino kindly presented greetings and gave a speech about the special connection between Lithuania and France. Afterwards, CCFL director Otilija Snieškaitė thanked partners and sponsors of the CCFL Charity Gala Dinner, whereas CCFL vice-president Rasa Starkus briefly presented activities of the Chamber and elaborated on the event of the year – “Dîner de Gala avec Martell”.

She emphasized that the French-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce decided not only to keep a tradition and support the preservation of the Lithuanian history, but also, considering the benevolent initiatives of many honourable people, to contribute to supporting families and individuals, to whom life have brought difficult challenges. This year, charity will be collected in cooperation with Edita Mildažytė and devoted to charity and support fund “Bėdų turgus”.
