On Saturday, 3rd December, 2016, luxurious business and charity dinner « Diner de Gala avec Martell » organised by the French-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce (Chambre de Commerce Franco-Lituanienne) traditionally took place at the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania.
The event aims to continuously promote the culture of Lithuania’s estates, to preserve cultural heritage and to strengthen ties between France and Lithuania. This year, during the Gala Dinner collected charity was devoted to the people in need in cooperation with Edita Mildažytė and “Bėdų turgus” fund. Of course, as each year, the part of the funds was dedicated to the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania.
The official part of the CCFL Charity Gala Dinner was hosted by well known author of books and publications Eugenijus Skerstonas in French and Lithuanian languages.
The evening was held with a program prepared by maestro Donatas Katkus and the St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra of Vilnius, enriched with 5 historic Rendez-vous between France and Lithuania. During this fabulous evening guests were invited to taste dishes inspired by French culinary traditions. Gourmet feast with champagne, wines and cognac, gifts and pleasant surprises.
The Dancing ball and the after party continued in the Kempinski Hotel Cathedral Square.
