Due to the current situation with the Coronavirus Covid-19 and recommendations of the Lithuanian government, the CCI Franco-Lituanienne’s physical office will be closed for two weeks starting from the 16th of March but WE ARE REACHABLE BY EMAIL AND PHONE as we are teleworking.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any enquiries, questions or would like to share with us and our members some important information. We are in contact with the French Embassy in Vilnius, CCI France International and we follow the situation with the Coronavirus in all the world.
VISITS and MEETINGS. Concerning planned visits and meetings, we will contact you personally. We can always speak by email, phone or skype.
EVENTS. We are planning some interesting events that are postponed according to the current situation due to the Coronavirus : Business Breakfasts on the Most recent tax issues / Security of data / Women in politics / French tea degustation / French wine degustation / French fashion and more. We will inform you about the dates of the events as soon as possible.

Regarding the situation in Lithuania and in France, you will find below a brief recap.
– IN LITHUANIA:
The 14th of March, the Lithuanian government decided to put into place a national quarantine until the end of March.
What it means:
– Border restrictions. The access to the Lithuanian territory is prohibited to foreigners except for drivers and crew members in the case of commercial and/or international carriage of goods; persons entitled to reside in the Republic of Lithuania; persons enjoying immunities and privileges under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (1961) and the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations (1963) and persons serving in NATO and NATO military units and the personnel serving them and their family members.
– The Lithuanian authorities have placed France as a high-risk country. People who have returned from foreign countries must self-isolate for 14 days and submit personal information to the National Public Health Center (NVSC) +370 5 2124098, by e-mail info@nvsc.lt, or by filling in a questionnaire. Travellers with possible coronavirus symptoms are urged to immediately call 1808.
– All indoor and outdoor events/gatherings are prohibited.
– The activities of shops, shopping and/or entertainment centres, except for the sale of food, veterinary, pharmacy and optical goods, and of markets other than food, shall be prohibited.
IN FRANCE:
The 14th of March the French government decided to begin stage 3 of the epidemic control plan and on the 17th of March, the President Emmanuel MACRON announced tougher rules.
– Lock down of the population for 15 days minimum has been put into place. Journeys are prohibited except in the following cases and only if you have a certificate for: Going to work if teleworking is not possible; shopping for basic necessities in authorized shops; going to a health professional; journeys for childcare or to help vulnerable people and exercising (individually, not far from home and no gathering). Infractions of these rules will be punishable by a fine of 38 euros to 135 euros.
All essential establishments like supermarkets, pharmacies, petrol stations, banks, tobacconists and newsagents will remain open.
– The Schengen borders will be closed from the 17th of March (12h00) for 30 days.
