Members News | Eurovia signed the contract for a rail section construction
Rail Baltica signed a contract with Czech company Eurovia CZ a.s., and its partner, and CCFL member, Eurovia Lietuva AB for the construction of a 17.1 km section from Šėta to Ramygala
The construction costs is amounting to almost 98 mln EUR (excl. VAT)
In total, 65.2 km of Rail Baltica in Lithuania will be under construction at the beginning of next year
Artūras Prichodka, CEO of Eurovia Lietuva, expressed his commitment: “We are commencing preparatory work and are eager to start on site”
Julius Šimkevičius, Head of EUROVIA CZ in Lithuania, added: “We are fully prepared to successfully implement this phase of Rail Baltica construction. Our aim is to ensure that both the public and the client are satisfied with the progress of this strategically important project”
Currently, the construction of the Rail Baltica embankment is ongoing in the 29.2 km section
