“Delfi” asks for business new article “In the transport sector, there are brakes and tension due to the situation in Germany”.
This time, managers of companies in the transport sector were asked how they assess the current economic situation in Lithuania and the possibilities of their business development next year. Businessmen do not hide that they are worried about both geopolitical tensions and the industrial situation in Germany – some are very cautious in making future business plans.

In short: “Everyone is pulling on the ‘handbrake’.” However, there are also good signs: after the recent cuts in the central bank’s interest rates, there is a resurgence, and the talk of further cuts is positive. So hopefully the fourth quarter will be the best in all of this year.”
“What’s gratifying? The delivery schedules of the manufacturers of trucks and semi-trailers have finally settled down. If in 2022 vehicles had to wait a year or more, now the delivery times are about 8 weeks. Everything has returned to normal, so we have time to put together growth plans. We’re not in a hurry, we’re watching the markets and we’re doing our homework.”
