On March 27, 2025, French-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce team visited Alytus!

That day we have visited two companies: ASTRA and SNAIGĖ:

We visited the SNAIGĖ factory, where refrigerators are designed and manufactured, including specialist models for laboratories and pharmacies.

Founded in 1963, the company carries out the entire production process in-house, guaranteeing complete control over manufacturing. Its refrigerators are exported to over 30 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.

On this occasion, we met Paulius Petrukonis (Sales Director), Tomas Šniugždinis and Ruslanas Lugovik (Production and Technical Director), who guided us through the factory. This visit enabled us to learn more about their know-how and their intra-European industrial organization.

The same day our team had the pleasure of visiting ASTRA AB. After we had a fruitful discussion with Vaidas Liesionis.

We had the pleasure of visiting the factory, which specializes in the design and manufacture of process equipment for the energy, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, food, agricultural, shipbuilding and construction industries. 

The plant has a production area of 23,000m2 and employs a team of 250 skilled engineers and technicians.
