On May 15, 2026, the French-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce team and members joined forces with the non-profit organization Myliu mišką for an inspiring tree-planting initiative in Rudokai village, Vilnius district.

What was recently just an open field is now being transformed into a thriving, brand-new forest. 

The entire afforestation project is thoughtfully designed with a mix of spruce, birch, and black alder to ensure a resilient, healthy, and biodiverse ecosystem. By planting these trees, we aren’t just digging holes in the ground—we are making a long-term investment in cleaner air, a stabler climate, and a greener Lithuania. This new forest will serve as a vital carbon-absorbing ecosystem and a future home for local birds and wildlife.
