French – Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce decided to start the summer actively! Together with Lietuvos Petankės Asociacija on June 13^th, 2026 we have organized our second Pétanque tournament!

Pétanque is  a French (or more precisely Provençal) outdoor game (it can also be played indoors) in which two teams compete. The game uses metal balls, and the object of the game is to force the ball as close as possible to the target (a small, wooden ball, also called a “cochonnet” in French ). Petanque is the most popular ball sport ( jeu de boules ) among all sports involving balls and a target.

Anyone can compete in petanque , regardless of gender, age, or ability. Petanque combines physical and mental skills.

CCFL have spent the second Saturday of the summer at the Bernardinų Sodas, together with Lietuvos Petankės Asociacija we have got together CCFL members, Pétanque beginners and professionals, of every age, to play. Even walking by Pétanque lovers had the possibility to join the tournament.
