1. Data controller

2. Data we collect
We collect only the data necessary for the purposes described below.
- Contact form: subject of the request, surname, first name, company, e-mail address, telephone (optional) and the content of the message.
- Membership application: information about the company (legal name, billing entity, address, VAT number, registration code, turnover, headcount), the details of the main contact, the billing contact and any additional contacts, together with your motivation.
- Newsletter: e-mail address and, where applicable, name and company.
- Event registration: name, company, job title, contact details and practical information relating to the event.
- Browsing: technical data linked to cookies, set out in our cookie policy.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering your requests: pre-contractual measures or legitimate interest in handling the enquiries addressed to us.
- Managing memberships (application, invoicing, directory, invitations): performance of the membership contract and accounting obligations.
- Organising events: performance of the contract or legitimate interest.
- Sending the newsletter and invitations: your consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
- Measuring the site’s audience: your consent given through the cookie banner.
4. Publication in the member directory
The professional information provided when joining (legal name, sector, city, logo, business contact details) is published in the member directory available on this site. You may at any time ask for your entry to be amended or removed by writing to info@cci-fr.lt.
5. Recipients
Your data is processed by the Chamber’s team and, where applicable, by our technical processors:
- our host, Hostinger International Ltd. (registered office in Cyprus), whose servers used for this site are located in the European Union;
- MailerLite, for sending the newsletter;
- Google Maps, for displaying the map on the Contact page, only after your consent;
- the providers handling the forms embedded in the site.
We neither sell nor rent your data to third parties.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Some of our processors may process data outside the European Union. Such transfers are governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or by an adequacy decision.
7. Retention periods
- Contact enquiries: 3 years from the last exchange.
- Membership files: for the whole duration of the membership, then 5 years; 10 years for accounting records.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, then 3 years at most.
- Audience measurement cookies: 13 months at most.
8. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, write to info@cci-fr.lt. We reply within one month. If you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may refer the matter to the Lithuanian data protection authority (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija).
9. Security
We put in place appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access and disclosure: encryption of exchanges, access control and regular backups.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated. Any substantial change will be signalled on this page, with a new update date.
