CCFL member’s, Constat Law Firm’s, Senior Associate – Girius Ivoška, recently shared thoughts for Delfi.lt about how to prevent psychological violence and mobbing at work

Since January 1, 2025, stricter rules of prevention of psychological violence and mobbing at workplace have come into force for all companies in Lithuania. Employers who will fail to ensure new regulations can be fined for 500-1,400 EUR (twice as much as before)

According to Article 30, Part 2 of the Labor Code, “violence and harassment include any unacceptable behavior that can have a physical/psychological/sexual/economic impact, offend dignity or create a hostile work environment.”

Mobbing – persistent, systematic behavior by colleagues or managers aimed at isolating, belittling or causing psychological discomfort
