On July 30th, 2025, the international day of friendship, the Embassy of France in Lithuania had announced that friendship between France and Lithuania is more than words – it’s reflected in concrete actions.
On June 3, our nations took another step forward by signing the France–Lithuania Strategic Partnership Action Plan 2025–2029. This ambitious roadmap will guide cooperation in key areas:

🔹 Security and defense, ensuring peace and stability
🔹 Support for Ukraine in defending its sovereignty
🔹 Economic growth and scientific innovation through shared expertise
🔹 Cultural and educational exchanges to bring people closer
🔹 Human rights and freedoms, the foundation of our democratic values
France and Lithuania share more than history – we share a vision for a united and secure Europe.
