Beaujolais Nouveau 2025

As every year, and just like all around the world, on November 20 we’ll celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau 2025 – new wine harvest .

CCFL member, Vyno Klubas, invite you to spend this evening surrounded by wine lovers and wine experts, tasting the very first wine of this year’s harvest and enjoying dishes inspired by the cuisine of the Beaujolais region. Winemakers from Beaujolais are already celebrating a successful vintage — and they invite all of us to join in the joy.

Highlights of the Beaujolais Celebration:

• Tasting of the new Beaujolais wine
• Traditional Lyon dish (saucisson au gene) and snacks from the Beaujolais region paired with wine
• Blind wine tasting
• Beaujolais quiz – how much do you know about this wine and its traditions?
• Lively themed music throughout the evening

Beaujolais Nouveau marks the premiere of the new vintage — a joyful celebration of the year’s hard work in the vineyards and a toast to the hope of an even better year ahead. As the saying goes: how you celebrate Beaujolais, is how you’ll live the year to come.

Following this tradition, at Vyno Klubas they are getting ready to welcome the arrival of the new Beaujolais:
– In Vilnius, they’ll be grilling Lyon-style sausages and setting the mood with great music.

– In Klaipėda, they’ll bake a pie and open not only the fragrant, light, and refreshing young wines, but also more serious ones — the expressive Cru Beaujolais from the villages of Chiroubles, Fleurie, Morgon, Juliénas, and St.-Amour.

From 300-million-year-old pink granite soils and the rare Gamay grape, to distinctive winemaking traditions and the birthplace of natural wine — Beaujolais has many stories to tell. Vyno Klubas look forward to sharing them with you over a glass of this year’s new vintage.
